My roommate [info]adesso's good friend is joining the Peace Corps and obviously can't keep him, SO WE ADOPTED ~*~VIRGIL*~*~

He makes little "mew" noises that kind of just make me want to fall over. I have only known him for 45 minutes but I heart him loooots! Percy, on the other hand, is a bit peeved, to say the least. Apparently he's been hissing! I've NEVER hear him hiss. Awww, baby! Still, it's only been a day, so I'm sure it'll get better. Percy's got some severe abandonment issues, so I'm sure that's why he's not taking it well.

For real! Percy's EXTREMELY tolerant as well! He hates the tutu but doesn't really do anything when we put it on him, haha!

I tried putting a cute little Cubs shirt on my older cat once. I wish I had the freak out on video.

I put a santa thingy on the younger one when she was a kitten. It lasted a few minutes before the high pitched screams began. Good times.

...YOU ARE A BLACK WITCH! (seriously, I emailed everyone with a link to that video. My friends no kinda hate me a little.)

Kitteh!!!! Kitteh in clothes!!! I demand lots and lots of pics (you should get a flickr account so I can look at your kitteh pics all in the same place! *pokes*

I took in my friends cat Calvin for what was supposed to be 3 months (4 years later...) and Elle was beyond angry. It took me 2 months to get them acclimated. I had to keep them in separate rooms until they got used to the idea of one another and then they got to meet under supervision. (4 years later she is Susie to his Calvin and they act like siblings.) So good luck with the getting to know one another stage. It kinda sucks *g*

Wow! That's quite a long time. Yeah they've been kind of... sniffing at each other and then running in the opposite direction, or startling when the other walks into the room. No big fights yet! Hopefully none at all.

Yes, Yes you should.

You're fortunate in that you have little boy cats. They don't seem to be nearly as neurotic as girl cats. The problem was all with Elle. Calvin wanted to be BFF's as soon as he walked in the door and Elle was having none of it. Hence the two months of shifting kittehs around in a 2 room apartment.

Is he staying in your room while Percy stays in Danielle's? I've heard the key is to let Virge check out a room and get acclimated while Percy smells him out in the rest of the house, then swap and let Percy smell the room he was in while he explores the house, then gradually have them meet.

Bard is climbing all over our desks and boldly going where no kitty 444444444444444444444444444444444444444 (that was him jumping on my keyboard) ...has gone before.

OMG NUB-BUTT. Best ever.

Apparently when I was home on Thursday Danielle went ahead and did that. Don't know if there's a specific time period of how long to do it, but they seem to be getting on a little bit better. CROSSING FINGERS! I really want them to be BFFs and be all ADORABLE, SIGH.
